enMotion Touchless Paper Towel Dispenser Review : I'm working for big company where these dispensers were installed one year ago. A lot of them in more than ten restrooms. So my experience is quite extensive.
Generally they work; sometimes paper jam happens, but not often. There are two other problems, more serious -
1) Paper smells like a burned wires. I don't think it is paper itself. More likely, some dispenser parts (motor?) are overheated and smell transfers to paper.
2) Sensor is unreliable. First, it has low sensitivity to wet hands (ha-ha! it suppose to be used on wet hands!) - sometimes you have to touch the sensor lens to make it work (not a good idea in a public restroom!). Secondly, sometimes it dispense additional portion of paper _after_ is used. Not sure why, may be it's result of people moving around or of reflection from many mirrors installed in restrooms. Anyway, it fails quite often in regular restroom environment.
